SUPPORT & INSTALLATION
A little help
for your next read.
Get Pagebound
Pagebound is being prepared for the Chrome Web Store. A public installation link will appear here after release.
Read installation guidance ↓Install and start
Once the listing is available, open it in Chrome desktop 131 or newer, choose Add to Chrome, and review the permission prompt. Pin Pagebound from Chrome’s Extensions menu.
Visit a public website, open Pagebound from the toolbar, and choose Create book from this page. Review the website, allow access to its origin, and select your scope. Keep the full Pagebound tab open during collection. Access to external image origins is requested separately.
Read and download
Open a collected book directly in Read. Choose Design for optional styling, and wait for edits to show Saved. Review missing images, then choose Download and select PDF or EPUB. PDF uses offline pagination; Preview PDF shows page breaks.
For browser printing, choose More PDF options → Use browser layout. In Chrome’s print dialog, choose Save as PDF, match your design’s paper size, use 100% scale, enable background graphics, and turn off Chrome’s own headers and footers. Canceling the dialog returns to editing. Pagebound cannot tell whether you saved a file.
Missing content or interrupted collection
Open Review → Coverage & notes for skipped pages and images; Collection details has the collection log. Use Resume collection after an interruption, or Retry unavailable images to recover saved image sources. Website structure, robots rules, permissions, and collection limits can produce partial editions.
JavaScript loading and diagram preservation are off by default. Enable them only for sites you trust: their background tabs may use your signed-in session. Diagram capture triggers Chrome’s debugger notification.
Manage your local data
Use Site access to revoke website grants. Delete a book from your library to remove its owned local content. Clearing extension storage or uninstalling can erase your library; save important editions as PDF first.
